Small family own restaurant that serves breakfast and lunch. We have visited several times for lunch and the food has always been delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is always served quickly. There are two tables by the front windows that have a great view of the street to people watch. Plenty of parking nearby in the parking lot beside the restaurant (behind the police station). Prices are very reasonable.

Great example of a mom-and-pop restaurant in nearby Taneytown Maryland. Food is always good there, we've been there several times. It is small, but they managed to keep social distancing the protocols in effect. Prices are very very reasonable. I'll always look for reason to stop there when I'm in that part of town. If you are in/near Taneytown, MD this is a must visit. Small, family owned diner with the most amazing comfort food. Only open for breakfast and lunch, we ate breakfast twice on our recent visit. Once just wasn't enough! The food is cooked fresh after you order, so it takes a bit longer than fast food, but it's so worth the wait. With our party of 7 we ate a bit of everything. The biscuit and gravy divine, the omelets very generous and delicious, the French toast and waffles amazing. You can't go wrong!
